5Crawfords ("us", "we", or
"our") operates the https://5crawfords.blogspot.com/ website (the
"Service"). Our blog is published by Blogger, which is
owned and hosted by Google. When we say "us", "we", "our" or "5Crawfords" in this policy, this includes Blogger as many/most of these statements refer to their activities. For more information on Blogger/Google and how they collect, use, and store data, please refer to their own policies - they obviously haven't consulted with us on those!
Introduction from 5Crawfords
The world is getting complicated! Our only reason for even
having a blog is simply to post updates on our family’s ministry work with EMI
in an easy-to-format place that is easily accessible to our friends, family,
supporters, and anyone else who is interested in our family’s journey with EMI. That's it. We don't troll the usage details (or even know how to do that!) to see who has visited our blog. We aren't selling anything, and though we raise financial support to do our ministry work with EMI, this blog is intended for supporters, non-supporters, family, friends, and anyone else who wants to read about our journey without signing up for anything other than that.
However, unfortunately a lot of people misuse the internet,
so laws are being passed all the time to try to protect the rest of us. So it’s
a good thing, but it makes life a lot more complicated for the rest of us sometimes. And thus, in
an attempt to comply with the new laws both in Europe and in some US States, we’re
creating this Privacy Policy.
On our end, nothing has changed. It's possible, but we can't ever recall a time where we've personally obtained/extracted someone's personal data from this blog and used it in anyway since the vast majority of people who visit/read the blog have asked us for the link. Apart from the rare comments posted, we don't even know how to see who has visited this blog, let alone store or use your data. But apparently, anytime you operate a blog some of these things can be happening behind the scenes by the blog host, so we thought we'd outline those things as best as we know them. Honestly, we’re not
even 100% sure we need a Privacy Policy, but out of an abundance of caution, we’re
creating one since it was easier than trying to find another way to post our updates! But with that said, if you have any questions or concerns at all
